What Our Guests Say
I would definitely stay here again. The hosts are excellent. They gave me a map of the town and he met me at the drop off and escorted me to the Riad. The Riad is clean and staff friendly. I give it 5 stars. The Riad is close to everything only minutes away. Thanks for everything.
A peaceful hidden gem in the medina.
This is such a pleasant place to stay! It’s located right in the medina, yet somehow it’s so peaceful and quiet once you’re inside. The rooftop is gorgeous, especially at night, with plenty of shaded areas to relax in during the day too. The whole riad has such a calm, relaxed vibe.
The traditional breakfast was amazing, and all of the staff were incredibly friendly and approachable throughout our stay. I would highly recommend staying here, and we will certainly be back again!
Lovely Riad with great hosts.
We stayed for 5 nights at this beautiful Riad in a quiet location on the edge of the Medina.
The owners made us very welcome.
They met us from the taxi and led us through the winding streets to their Riad
which was nicely decorated and furnished.
Our suite was lovely with a very comfortable bed and chairs and sofa to relax on.
The large roof terrace was a great place to relax in the sun. Wi Fi was available every where in the Riad.
The Medina and Jemma El Fna square was about a 15 minute walk.
Abdu and Zakia, the staff at the Riad did a great job of looking after us, preparing breakfast and helping in any way they could. Breakfast was varied, pancakes, Yogurt ,fresh orange juice and fruit with traditional Morrocan bread. We had a very comfortable stay.
For our first trip to Marrakech, we were lucky enough to choose this perfect riad: it is authentic and comfortable, and offers a great breakfast. Abdou and Zakia are attentive yet discreet enough to ensure we felt at ease and that a peaceful atmosphere prevailed—a welcome contrast to the noise and bustle of the medina. The walk to Bab Ben Brahim gate (the pickup point for excursions) is short, so—to our surprise—we learned the route quite quickly. If we ever decide to visit Marrakech again, we would return here without hesitation.
A lovely riad with great hosts who made us very welcome.

Communication was excellent, the staff arranged for Husain ( taxi driver) to meet us at the airport, he was there as soon as we arrived and the owner met us at the drop off point to take us through the winding streets to the riad. Very well organised. We had a very large comfortable room with space for sitting as well. The bathroom was spacious and we always had hot water. The WiFi reception was good. There is also a lovely roof terrace for relaxing. Breakfast was fresh and substantial with freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, pancakes, croissants and tea or coffee. The riad was a 10/ 15 minute walk to the main square (El Fna) but we were always slow to get there as there were fabulous shops all the way. It is very busy as soon as you reach the souk edge and there is much to buy, but haggle the price! Offer half the price you are told and work up slowly from there!
Riad Scarlett is ideally located, with shops and restaurants nearby.
The décor is impeccable and the room very comfortable—not to mention the patio and the terrace!
A big thank you to Zakia and Abdou for their kindness and helpfulness. Thanks to them, we had a wonderful stay. The breakfast is excellent (the breads, pancakes, fruit...).
